pende2.JPGIn a weekend of teachings, discussions and meditations, Venerable Pende will introduce the basic principles of Buddhist Tantra (Vajrayana), as well as discuss the role of a Spiritual Teacher and empowerment in order to enter the practice of Tantra.

Venerable Pende will also explore the three foundations to enter Tantric practice: Renounciation (abandoning neurosis);Bodhicitta (the totally open heart) and the Wisdom of Emptiness (non-duality).




Venerable Ngawang Lekshe Pende
was born in Germany in 1965 and practiced in different spiritual traditions before he became a student of Lama Zopa Rinpoche in 1995. He studied psychology and worked in a psychiatric hospital. He took ordination with the great Sakya Lama Chobgye Trichen Rinpoche in 1997 and served as the manager and director of Nalanda Monastery in the south of France for 8 years. He has done solitary retreat and led many retreats and introductory courses in different centres in Europe.
