Start the New Year open, clear and focused. Strengthen your ability to access profound wisdom, transformation and healing within you, and eliminate the underlying causes of problems at their root level. Explore methods that help anyone to move to an empowered space of acceptance and altruism, knowing your unique way to help in the world.
This retreat will use experiential healing activities, meditations, talks, lively discussions and silence. You will also learn to use a wide range of other simple, fun and very effective tools, such as the 5 Tibetan Yogas, the use of hand mudras and mantras, drawing and writing. All these tools are easy to continue to use for yourself and to help others. The Dalai Lama has recently reminded us that while inner peace comes from inner silence, analysis and contemplation, we also need to get off our cushions and make a difference in our own families and communities.
This retreat will serve as a prerequisite for those who may be interested in future Transformative Self-Healing or 5 Tibetan Yogas Facilitation Training with Dekyi-Lee.
For more information please visit Dekyi Lee's web site.
Dekyi Lee's facilitation style is light, humorous and practical. She was a faculty member of the Findhorn Foundation for 7 years, followed by another 7 years as a Tibetan Buddhist nun in Australia, studying under The Dalai Lama, Lama Zopa Rinpoche and other high lamas. For almost 20 years Dekyi Lee has developed and used the Healing Power of the Mind and Transformative Self-Healing to improve the health and happiness of many people, teaching world-wide and training facilitators, doctors, social workers, therapists, psychologists and teachers. She is one of the few sources of Yoga Facilitator Training in the Five Tibetan Yogas, based on a true secret lineage in Tibetan Buddhism, a profound set of flowing exercises that increase your energy and joy in your pursuit of happiness. |
